Background & History
We are very lucky to have saved a unique car which the Reading built from a passenger coach. Reading LEMTU (Locomotive Engineer Mobile Training Unit) was used for air brake instruction, and later training in the operation of diesel locomotives. It contains operating controls for two diesel locomotives.
