The recently opened Reading Railroad Heritage Museum in Hamburg, PA.

Welcome to the Reading Railroad Heritage Museum!

The RCT&HS is completing its museum at 500 S. Third Street in Hamburg, PA. All exhibits are to be finished by mid-March. Meanwhile the museum is open to the public Sundays-only in February and weekends in March. Visitors can see an exclusive video showcasing the Reading Railroad, exhibits about the influence of the Reading Railroad on society, business, technology, and the environment, and shop in our museum store. Our Grand Opening celebration is Saturday April 12, 2008.

Museum Tours

In addition to the regular weekend hours groups (schools, scouts, civic organizations, etc.) may request weekday tours by contacting Dale Woodland at (215) 723-5848 or tours@readingrailroad.org. Groups must be a minimum of 10 persons and the cost is $3 per person.
